As part of an annual tradition, members of the Rye Fire Department gathered at our headquarters at 07:30 hours on Memorial Day Monday to honor current and former members of our Armed Forces. Firefighters marched from our headquarters up Purchase Street to the firefighter monument (at the intersection of Purchase St, Milton Rd and Grace Church St) and then back. We are honored to have several former members of our nation's military serve as firefighters of The Rye Fire Department. We'd like to thank them for their service to this country and community.
