On Sunday, August 7th, the Rye Fire Department and Port Chester EMS were dispatched to Playland Parkway in the Area of the Boston Post Road Overpass for a reported Motor Vehicle Accident with entrapment. Car 2423 was quickly on scene and found a vechile on its side with the sole occupant unable to escape. Firefighters and EMS personal were able to quickly stabilize the car and then extricate the victim through the windshield.

Luckily, the driver only sustained minor injures. The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Westchester County Police Department.
